The Beach Club Resort named finalist for New Business of the Year Award from The Tourism Industry Association of Canada

The Beach Club Resort has been named one of three national finalists for the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s New Business of the Year at the National Awards for Tourism Excellence 2009.

The New Business of The Year Award nomination recognizes The Beach Club Resort’s success during their first year as the newest luxury resort on Vancouver Island. Making innovative business decisions during a slow tourism year, the resort became a standout in their industry in their first year in operation. “We are thrilled to have been chosen as a finalist for New Business of the Year,” says Shawna Broekhuizen, The Beach Club Resort’s General Manager. “It’s a tribute to the hard work of our staff and management in making our first year a success.”

The New Business of the Year winner will be announced at a gala awards reception in Saint John, New Brunswick during Canada’s Tourism Leadership Summit on November 3^rd.
